Indore : Technology is advancing at an unprecedented pace, and it is important that our educational institutions keep up with these changes. Engineering colleges have a vital role to play in ensuring that our students are equipped with the knowledge and skills they need to thrive in the modern world, said Dr Davish Jain, Chairman, Prestige Education Foundation and Chancellor, Prestige University while addressing a Tech-HR Meet organized by the Prestige Institute of Engineering Management and Research here on Saturday as a part of its annual celebration - Urjotsav 2023.

Dr. Manoj Kumar, Director, PIEMR, said that this is the first time that a Tech-HR Meet has been organized by the Institute on such a large during its annual function -  Urjotsav. He said that through this HR meet, the gap between industry and educational institutions can be reduced and it will improve the teaching learning process in the students and faculties of our institute.

About 67 HR and Technology leaders from various companies from across the country participated in the Tech-HR meet. Technical sessions on various topics were organized during the HR Meet attended by HR and technology leaders from several leading companies in the country including Hexaware, Delight, TCS, Wells Fargo, Honeywell, Farm kart, Amdocs. Along with observing the project exhibition put up by the students of Prestige Institute of Engineering, Hey also interacted with the students and faculty and appreciated the talent of the students.

Dr. Deshpande informed that Prestige Engineering Institute's Urjotsav - 2023 has been divided into five parts including the Prestige Model United Nations, Sports Meet, Tech HR Meet, Tech Fest and Cultural Fest. The sports meet was organized from March 27 to April 1, in which competitions of table tennis, volleyball, kho-kho, basketball, kabaddi, chess, carrom, football, badminton and cricket were held. The students of the institute participated enthusiastically in these competitions.
