Gurugram, India, 21 August 2026: Kia India, one of the country’s leading mass-premium carmakers, today celebrated the delivery of 150 Kia Syros EVs to customers through its dealer partner, Incheon Kia. The milestone marks a significant step in the company’s journey towards greener and more sustainable mobility in India, reflecting growing customer confidence in electric mobility and its increasing acceptance as a practical choice for everyday mobility.
This achievement highlights the growing appeal of the Kia Syros EV, which combines long-range capability, performance, charging convenience and an industry-leading ownership proposition. A segment-best ARAI-certified range of 526 km (MIDC Full) with the 51.4 kWh Extended Range battery makes the Syros EV the first vehicle in its segment to cross the 500 km range mark. It also delivers segment-best 171 PS power output and best-in-segment DC fast charging, charging from 10–80in 39 minutes with a 100 kW charger.
Further strengthening customer confidence, the Syros EV is backed by a 15-year unlimited-kilometer Lifetime High Voltage Battery Warranty*, Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) starting at INR 7.99 lacs and an Assured Buyback* programme offering up to 80resale value* after three years.
As part of Kia India’s broader commitment to sustainable mobility, 150 Kia Green Workshops across India are making the company’s service network more eco-friendly and sustainable through initiatives such as solar-powered facilities and the recycling of water and other materials.
Commenting on the occasion, Mr. Atul Sood, Sr. Vice President – Marketing & Sales, said, “The delivery of 150 Kia Syros EVs to customers is a significant milestone for Kia India and a strong reflection of the growing confidence Indian customers have in electric mobility.
The Syros EV has been developed to make the transition to EV ownership more compelling, combining long-range capability, performance, charging convenience and strong ownership assurance. As we continue to strengthen our electrified portfolio, we will remain focused on bringing advanced technologies and products that meet the evolving aspirations of Indian customers.”
The occasion also underlines the role of Kia’s dealer network in advancing sustainable mobility. Incheon Kia has installed 1.6 MW of solar power capacity at its dealership facility, strengthening the use of clean and renewable energy in its operations. The initiative further supports Kia India’s vision of moving towards 100green.
