India's highest wrestling competition to be held at Shiv Shakti Dham Dasna : Chhote Narasimhanand Anil Yadav

The Senior National Federation Cup 2026, to be held on February 12, 13, and 14, 2026, under the aegis of Shri Krishna Yogdham Trust at Shiv Shakti Dham Dasna, is set to add a golden chapter to Ghaziabad's sporting history. This competition is considered the highest wrestling competition organized by the Wrestling Federation of India.

Addressing a press conference, Mahamandaleshwar Yati Narasimhanand Giri Maharaj said that this event will serve as a means to connect the youth of Ghaziabad with sports, inspiring them towards a disciplined and virtuous life. Young people involved in sports stay away from drugs and addictions. This competition will bring Ghaziabad into the national spotlight, and this event will be etched in the city's history.

Anil Yadav (Chhote Narasimhanand), Secretary of Shri Krishna Yogdham Trust, informed that the top 16 teams selected based on their performance in the Senior National Championships across the country will participate in this tournament. Wrestlers who perform exceptionally well in this competition will be selected for the Commonwealth Games, Olympics, and other international competitions. He said that approximately 550 male and female players from across the country will participate in this prestigious competition.

Raju Pehalwan, Vice President of the Ghaziabad Wrestling Association, informed that the competition will be held in the state-of-the-art wrestling hall of Shri Krishna Yogdham Trust at Shiv Shakti Dham Dasna. On February 12, 2026, the Trust will make complete arrangements for accommodation, food, and other necessary facilities for all the players and the referees and judges of the Wrestling Federation of India. All expenses related to the event will also be borne by Shri Krishna Yogdham Trust.

Jayveer Pehalwan, Patron of the Ghaziabad Wrestling Association, said that freestyle competitions for both men and women will be held on February 13, 2026. All competitions for female wrestlers will be completed on the same day. The Greco-Roman style will not be included in the women's category.  On February 14, 2026, the remaining men's competitions will be completed according to weight categories, with athletes showcasing their skills in freestyle, Greco-Roman, and Roman styles.

The press conference was attended by several dignitaries, including Khalifa Brahm Yadav of Bamhaita, Sudesh Yadav, Trust Treasurer Pankaj Mittal, Vice President Pawan Singhal, Trust member Sudesh Yadav, coach Shiv Kumar Yadav, Mohit Bajrangi, and Lokesh Yadav.
