Hindu organizations stage violent protest outside Ghaziabad Commissioner's office, controversy erupts over behavior of 5 policemen – 2 suspended

On Thursday, Ghaziabad witnessed a massive uproar and protest outside the Commissioner's office in the Rajnagar area when hundreds of activists from various Hindu organizations took to the streets to protest alleged police misconduct. The protest began around 11 a.m. and continued until around 6 p.m., with several road blockades.

Over 500 Hindu activists participated in the protest, including officials from various organizations such as the Karni Sena, Gau Raksha Dal, and Hindu Raksha Dal, saints, social workers, and a large number of women. The protest was held in response to alleged police mistreatment of Akku Pandit and Daksh Chaudhary.

 The protest was attended by saints and activists associated with the Dasna Devi Temple, Mohit Bajrangi Ikla, Raju Bajrangi, Dr. Prakash, female wrestler Rakhi, Saint Aastha Maa, Dharma Rakshak Guru Arun Maharaj, and representatives of several Hindu organizations. They raised slogans against the police and demanded action.

The protesters alleged that five policemen behaved rudely and inappropriately with Akku Pandit and Daksh Chaudhary, resulting in visible injuries to the eyes of both victims. The protest was a protest against this. During the protest, activists blocked the road several times and raised strong slogans against the administration. Women also participated enthusiastically and demonstrated angrily.

Slogans like "Jai Shri Ram," "Har Har Mahadev," and "Give justice to Daksh Chaudhary and Akku Pandit" echoed throughout the day at the protest site. The protesters stated that the protest would continue until action was taken against the guilty policemen.

 According to sources, during the protest, an ACP-level officer arrived at the scene and informed the protesting saints and organizations that two of the five policemen had been suspended following an investigation. He also informed the protesting saints and organizations that an investigation would be conducted against the other three. Upon receiving this information, the protesting saints and organizations gradually calmed down, and the protest ended in the evening.

The situation remained challenging for the administration throughout the protest. A large police force was deployed to maintain law and order.

The organizations participating in the protest also stated that the struggle would continue on issues such as cow protection, protection of Sanatan Dharma, and love jihad. Several speakers from the stage emphasized the unity of Hindu society and demanded justice in such cases.

It was reported that saint Yati Narsinghanand Saraswati Maharaj, associated with the Dasna Devi Temple, and Pinky Bhaiya of the Hindu Raksha Dal were placed under house arrest by the police at their residence and the temple premises as a precautionary measure to prevent any major law and order situation.

 The highlight of this protest was that it was the first time such a prolonged sit-in of this scale had been witnessed outside the Commissioner's office in Ghaziabad, lasting for nearly seven hours. Several media outlets and social media influencers in and around Delhi also covered the protest.

The protest eventually calmed down after the announcement of the suspension of the policemen, but the protesters made it clear that if strict action is not taken in such cases in the future, they will be forced to launch a larger protest again.
