Sukhan Aur Cinema Successfully Concludes in Mumbai

Sukhan Aur Cinema, organised by Katha Ghar Kaano Wala Cinema in association with Blue Eyes Film Factory, was successfully held on Sunday, 23 August 2026, at RDX Studio & Cafe, Versova, Mumbai.

The evening brought together poetry, shayari, stories and cinema in one gathering. The programme featured Vijay Arsh, Meraj Rampuri, Rehan Kaleem Sehyun, Honey Patel and Ghazal Sheikh. Qaseem Hyder Qaseem, Neeraj Neer, Himank, Dishank Bhatt “Shayar” and Qalandar also took part in the evening.

The event had a simple and intimate format, giving the performers space to present their work and the audience an opportunity to listen and spend time around poetry and cinema. The different performances brought their own styles and voices to the programme, making the evening varied while keeping its central focus on words, stories and music.

Held from 6:30 PM to 10:00 PM, the gathering brought together people with an interest in poetry, shayari and cinema. The response from the audience was encouraging, and the event concluded successfully.

For Katha Ghar Kaano Wala Cinema, Sukhan Aur Cinema was an important gathering because it created a space where poetry and cinema could come together in a relaxed setting. With the participation of the performers and the support of the audience, the programme achieved what it set out to do: bring people together for an evening centred around poetry, stories and cinema.
