THREE AUTOLIFTERS ARRESTED : 10 TWO-WHEELERS RECOVERED BY WEST DISTRICT POLICE TEAM

DELHI.

• Accused persons namely Ajay(previously involved in 10 criminal cases), Umesh (previously involved in 04 criminal cases) and Manish (previously involved in 06 criminal cases) arrested 
• Six stolen scooties and four stolen motorcycles recovered
• Ten cases solved

INCIDENT TEAM AND OPERATION

To curb the incidents of motor vehicle theft, police stations in the West district are working on prevention and detection. 

I. PS Rajouri Garden

On March 30, 2025, a dedicated team led by SI Vikash Fageria, I/C PP Subhash Nagar, along with HC Sanjay, HC Harbeer, and Ct Mintu, under the supervision of Insp M.S. Kamal, SHO/Rajouri Garden, and Ms Niraj Tokas, ACP/Rajouri Garden, were on patrolling duty in the area of PP-Subhash Nagar. While patrolling near Chhatri Wala Park, Subhash Nagar, they noticed a person dragging a scooty under suspicious circumstances.  Promptly he was chased and apprehended. Upon checking the scooty's details, it was found to be stolen from Rajouri Garden, Delhi. During the inquiry, he was identified as Ajay s/o Gulab Singh. 

Further interrogation led to the recovery of four more stolen vehicles linked to him.

II. PS Moti Nagar

On March 30, 2025, SI Mohit Singh, ASI Rajinder, HC Sonu Baliyan, and HC Amit Kumar, under the supervision of Insp Varun Dalal, SHO/Moti Nagar, and Sh Vijay Singh, ACP/Punjabi Bagh, were on patrolling duty near ESIC Hospital and Basai Darapur. While patrolling behind the ESI hospital, they noticed a person on a scooty in a suspicious condition, entering from Ring Road to Basai Darapur, who attempted to flee upon seeing the police party. The accused was promptly chased and apprehended. Upon checking the scooty's details, it was found to be stolen from the area of PS Moti Nagar, Delhi. During the inquiry, he was identified as Umesh s/o Om Prakash. Further interrogation led to the recovery of another stolen vehicle linked to him.

III. PS Khyala

On March 30, 2025, HC Rajender and HC Suresh were on patrolling duty in the area of PS Khyala, under the supervision and guidance of SHO Khyala and ACP Tilak Nagar. During patrolling, at about 2:00 AM, when they reached Ganda Nala Road, near HMV Park, Khyala, Delhi, they found a person approaching on a motorcycle from Kesopur Mandi towards Ganda Nala Picket. They stopped the bike rider and asked him to show the motorcycle's documents, but he couldn't produce any. Suspecting foul play, they checked the vehicle and found it was stolen from the area of PS Khyala, Delhi. Upon interrogation, the accused person's identity was revealed as Manish s/o Mukesh, residing in Raghubir Nagar, Delhi. Further interrogation led to the disclosure that he had stolen another vehicle, which he had hidden in HMV Park, between the bushes. One more stolen motorcycle and one stolen scooty were recovered from him.

ACCUSED PERSON

1. Ajay S/o Sh. Gulab Singh R/o Subhash Nagar Age- 22 Years.  He has previously been involved in 10 cases of theft and Arms Act. Recently he has released on bail on 10/03/2025.

2. Umesh S/o Om Prakash R/o Amar Park Jhuggi Zakhira Delhi Age 23 year.  He has previously been involved in more than 04 cases of theft, and Arms Act. 

3. Manish S/o Mukesh R/o Raghubir Nagar, Khyala, Delhi.  He has previously been involved in 06 criminal cases.  He has released on bail on 19.10.2024
