72 Donors Participate in Blood Donation Camp in Dharauli to Honors 1965 War Martyr

JHAJJAR. In the memory of the martyrs of the 1965 India-Pakistan war, a blood donation camp was organized at village Dharauli, the sacred land of brave soldiers. The camp was held in honor of Lance Naik Hawa Singh Lamba of Dharauli, who sacrificed his life while defending the nation in 1965 India-Pakistan. The 10th blood donation camp was organized by Maa-Matribhoomi Sewa Samiti, Dharauli, with the support of District Red Cross Society, Jhajjar, at Shaheed Hawa Singh Lamba Government Middle School, Dharauli. 

In this camp, 72 youths, including one woman, Deepa from Mubarikpur village of Jhajjar district, came forward to donate blood. The camp was inaugurated by chief guest and blood donor Nitesh Bhauria, representing Propritor. Urban Yova Readymade Store, Kosli, who donated blood for the 43rd time. 

Among the donors, several set inspiring examples with their consistent contribution to the noble cause. Dr. Sandeep Gulia of Jahangirpur donated blood for the 26th time, as did Kamaljeet, a cow-sevak from Kosli. Ashwani Malhan of Babepur Girdharpur donated for the 25th time, Master Dharamveer Naharwal of Kosli for the 24th time, Pramod Jangra of Jahazgarh and Haryanvi folk singer Ajit Kumar Rageela both for the 18 th time, and Sanjay Jakhar of Amboli for the 16th time. 

Educators also actively participated, fulfilling their social responsibility along with their dedication to teaching. Master Harbir Malhan of Girdharpur, a 21- time donor; Master Praveen Kumar Yadav of Kosli, an 18-time donor; and Master Pawan Kumar of Dhaneerwas, an 11-time donor, graced the event as special guests. 

Social worker, educationist, and 21-time donor Sukhbir Jakhar, Chairman of Reliance Group of Schools, presided over the program. 

The camp was coordinated under the leadership of Yudhvir Singh Lamba, President of Maa Matribhoomi Sewa Samiti, Dharauli, and a 22-time donor. The District Red Cross Society team, led by Deepak Kumar, ensured smooth management of the blood collection. The initiative received strong support from several individuals, including educationists, social workers, entrepreneurs, and legal professionals, whose contribution added to the success of the event. 

Yudhvr Singh Lamba, who has donated blood for the 22nd time, President, Maa-Matribhoomi Seva Samiti, Veeron Ki Devbhoomi Dharauli, said that 1. Sukhbir Jakhar, Chairman, Reliance Group of Schools, 2. Manjit Singh, Proprietor. Shri Hans Bag House, Kosli, 3. Master Harbir Malhan resident of Girdharpur Babepur, 4. Sonu Kumar, Proprietor Sonu Motor Winding Center, Nahad Road Kosli, 5. Proprietor Vikram Yadav of Kamala Medical Store, Kosli, 6. Senior Advocate Rakesh Lamba, Civil Court, Kosli, 7. Blood donor Master Rohit Yadav Kosli, 8. Blood donor Master Satish Yadav of Bhakli, 9. Master Pawan Kumar, Village Dhanirwas, 10. Master Ashok Kumar Mubarikpur Village, 11. Social worker Sagar Yadav of Kosli etc. provided special support in the blood donation camp.

Adding a unique environmental message to the noble cause, Manjeet Singh, Proprietor of Shri Hans Bag & Stationery House, Natthu Ram Complex, Kosli, presented a "Song of India" sapling as a gift to the first 50 blood donors, promoting awareness about conservation alongside social service. 

The event highlighted the spirit of sacrifice, unity, and service, keeping alive the memory of the brave martyrs and inspiring the youth to continue contributing towards the welfare of society.
